  • Your egg broke but the yolk remained intact

  • Your egg cracked but the yolk remained inside and intact

  • Your egg cracked but was still together
Our egg was only cracked.

Calculation Achievements-

  • NONE
We didn't use any math with our design.

Other Achievements-

  • Help set up the bulls eye
Fred and i set up the bulls eye on drop day.

The designs that seemed to work best for my class were the ones that were very simple, light, and had a lot of padding around the egg.

If i were to redesign my solutions, I would use less rubber bands and more cotton balls because the rubber bands put to much pressure on the egg.

  1. Hi Jake,

Same comments I've left Fred since you two worked together (and please turn off word verification on your comments! Thanks):

Great insight at the end as far as how you would redesign.

How did you guys miss the target? This looks like you could get pretty accurate with your design. I appreciate your integrity regarding your accuracy (don't need to check my notes). Thanks.

Please include dimensions on your sketches to make them more useful.
